Sri Lanka's tourist ETA became free for US citizens
Sri Lanka made its tourist ETA free of charge for nationals of 40 countries, and the United States is on the list. The ETA is still mandatory and must be obtained online before you fly; only the fee is gone.
Why it matters: Apply on the official portal and confirm the fee shows as zero for a US passport. Anyone charging you the old tourist fee is not the official channel.
