Ireland: we corrected the M50 toll wording
The guide first described missing the M50 toll deadline as a flat 30 to 60 euro fine. In fact, missing the 8pm next-day deadline triggers a small per-journey late fee that then escalates, and the larger figure is a separate rental-company admin charge.
Why it matters: If you drive the M50 and miss the deadline, the immediate cost is small and grows with delay; the scary flat fine you may have read about is the rental desk, not the toll operator.
